The cast of Vikram's next film that is to be directed by Anand Shankar is getting bigger and better.While the makers recently signed on Nayanthara as the female lead, news is that they are trying to get Nithya Menen on board to play the other female lead. Earlier, Bindu Madhavi was being considered for this role.
A source says, “Nithya has agreed to work on the film, but the formal signing on process is yet to happen. Kajal Aggarwal and Bindu Madhavi were approached earlier, but at that time, a different production house was handling things. Now, since the production team has completely changed, major changes in the casting are taking place, and this was only to be expected.“
The source adds, “The director had plans to kick-start the film in Malaysia but now, there is a change in that as well. The team may start shooting in Chennai itself as a set is being erected in the city . Actually, shooting was supposed to have already started, but the rains and flood has impeded that.“
