The cast and crew of Raja Pattai, to be directed by Suseenthiran held a press meet at a city hotel on Monday (June 6) evening.The function which was schedule to start at 6.45 was delayed for more than an hour, as its hero Vikram came late.
The actor who walked in, apologised and blamed his delay on a horse with whom he was shooting at AVM studio, the rains and traffic!The entire crew of cameraman Mathi, teenage producers Prathish and Santhosh (sons of noted producer Kanakaratna Ramesh), heroine Deeksha Seth, Thambi Ramaiyah were present.
Vikram said: "Raja Pattai will be a mass, action masala entertainer for me after a long time on the lines of Dhool and Saamy. However, the story, with humour and logic in place is what attracted me to take up this project".
Prathish said: "We have the passion and age doesn't matter to be a producer. Our dad is going to guide us through. The film will have songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja and lots of humour”.
Deeksha Seth looking pretty in a subtle, peach dress, sounded cliched when she said: "I have learnt two Tamil words- Ellorukkum Vanakkam and I look forward to all the love and encouragement from Tamil media and audiences".
