While it was earlier rumoured that the Thaandavam unit is planning to go to the US to shoot some crucial scenes, now, we learn that these sequences will be shot extensively in London and other parts of the United Kingdom.
Director Vijay, cameraman Nirav Shah and the production team left India on Saturday, and the rest of the team including the actors will head to UK this week.
The shooting will commence from April 16 and will continue till mid-June,We hear that almost 50 per cent of the shoot has been completed with the Delhi and Chennai schedules. While “delays in getting the visa for the entire cast and crew” is the official reason given for the change of location from the US to the UK, sources tell us that the move was also necessitated to keep the budget from skyrocketing.
The film’s music, composed by G V Prakash, is expected to be launched in July. The action entertainer, starring Vikram, Anushka, Amy Jackson and JB, is likely to hit theatres by late August or early September.
