Even as reports claiming that there was a big fight between Vikram and Sasikumar over a film produced by the former and directed by the latter following which Sasikumar himself has taken over the project, Vikram has cleared the air saying ‘both of us are good friends’.
”It’s true that the movie’s production has changed hands. But I share a very good rapport with Sasikumar and I am even planning to act in his direction”, says Vikram, who is back from Venice, after attending a film festival with Mani Ratnam.
Explaining the reason behind his walking out of the project, the ‘Chiyaan’ says, “We initially planned a budget for the film. When the expenses exceeded the limit, Sasikumar himself came forward to produce the movie”.
“But we are great friends still, both professionally and personally. We discuss a lot of things. There is nothing brewing between us, except a good relationship. Everything is smooth and cool”, he adds.
