The Telugu version of Maniratnam’s ‘Raavan’ which was titled as ‘Villain’ will have its audio launch on May 14th at Chennai. According to the industry buzz, A.R.Rahman will perform live at the audio launch and Vikram will dance for the show. It was also heard that Maniratnam will invite only the selected people and the media to the event. The Tamil and Telugu versions have Vikram, Aishwarya and Prithviraj in the main roles.
Chiyaan Vikram has created world record with this film. He is the first actor in the world to play two conflicting roles in two different versions of the same film. In Hindi version, he is playing Dev, a police officer in search of his wife, Aishwarya Rai who has been captured by villain Abishek Bachchan. While, in Telugu and Tamil versions he is playing the role quiet opposite to his role in Hindi and plays Abishek’s role as villain.
The movie is all set to hit the big screens on June 18th
