All are eagerly waiting for the release day of Maniratnam’s trilingual film ‘Raavanan’. Industry is at buzz that the film is being made on the base of modern Ramayana but the lead heroine of the film Aishwarya Rai is telling that ‘Raavanan’ is not a modern adaptation of Ramayana or any mythological story.

By clearing the views of all, Aishwarya says that the title ‘Raavanan’ was placed as the role Chiyaan Vikram in Tamil or Abhishek Bachchan in Hindi is a multifaceted character. Their both characters have lot of negative shade but they are not fully wicked people.

Throwing more light on this, Aishwarya says that Vikram’s is called by the nick name ‘Raavanan’ for the evil things he does. His role in the movie will be hasty, at one time he will be happy and the next second he will be mean and wild.
